Wambui is a public health/gender specialist with experience in management of multiple projects such as water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), nutrition, HIV/AIDs, Sexual and Reproductive Health, gender, economic empowerment as well as monitoring and evaluation.
Her interests lie in using an evidenced based approach that shows how culture/gender norms and social institutions impact development initiatives such as nutrition, agriculture, economic empowerment, education etc.
She recently conducted gender mapping exercises for the private sector and is passionate about the intersection of gender, agriculture, and nutrition.
She has a Master of Public Health from Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand
